times ten cellars played host to the final Site Texas Chapter event of 2009. In an informal winery setting, some 30 members and non-members were able to relax and reconnect with old colleagues and acquaintances, as well as establish some new business relationships. With the audience comprising of corporate buyers, incentive travel houses, meeting planners, DMC's, hoteliers, CVB's and many more, the evening was a lively affair with many hot industry topics under discussion, including IMEX’s announcement to bring their hosted buyers show format to Las Vegas in 2011.
Sandy Bench, Chapter President also announced the chapter’s success at the annual Site International Conference in Aruba, where we were proud to receive an Excellence Award in the Wild Card category. Site Texas was also one of six finalists selected for Chapter of the Year, eventually won by Site Canada.

Ms. Bench then went on to thank the 2009 Board of Directors of the chapter for their contributions and service in 2009, before announcing and introducing the new Board of Directors for 2010. The evening was concluded with a grand prize drawing for a four night Royal Caribbean Cruise courtesy of 3D Destinations. The event was sponsored by the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau and in part by 3D Destinations and Culinary Art Catering.
