Network Mixer "Building Relationships" July 14, 2010
It was a beautiful evening for the Education and Network Mixer "Building Relationships in San Antonio.” This was the second Site event held in San Antonio and it was a huge success. The event took place at The Westin La Cantera Resort with its outstanding vistas of the Texas Hill Country and lights of the Alamo City. The location even drew attendance from other cities, including Dallas, Austin and Houston.
Westin La Cantera impressed the attendees with their culinary expertise, featuring Chef John Herdman’s Seared Scallops and Popcorn, Chilled Tenderloin, as well as a wonderful selection of passed canapés. Accompanying the palate pleasers, the resort’s signature Mojitos with their fresh squeezed fruit and herbs were certainly a huge hit. The Strawberry/Kiwi blend was a favorite and surely enhanced the networking opportunities.
Nearly 30 people were in attendance and all enjoyed the camaraderie of the event well into the evening. Drawings were held for fantastic prizes donated by Six Flags, the McNay Art Museum, Don Strange Catering, Hard Rock Cafe, Boudro's Restaurant and the San Antonio CVB. It addition to the business discussions, it was a great time to visit old friends, make new ones and enjoy our colleagues from Site Texas.
