The Laurie Sprouse Impact Award recognizes a supplier member whose exceptional leadership, passion, and commitment have made a profound and lasting impact on the SITE Texas Chapter.
Named in honor of Laurie Sprouse, founder and first president of SITE Texas, this award celebrates members who embody Laurie’s enduring legacy—visionary leadership, collaborative spirit, and a deep belief in the power of connection within our industry.
Purpose
To honor a SITE Texas member who has:

Demonstrated extraordinary dedication and service to the chapter

Inspired others through leadership, mentorship, or innovation
-
Contributed meaningfully to the growth, reputation, or success of SITE Texas
-
Embodied the chapter’s values of collaboration, integrity, and excellence
This award reflects Laurie’s spirit of creating community and driving meaningful change—celebrating those who lead not for recognition, but to make a difference.
Eligibility
Nominees must:

Be an active SITE Texas member in good standing
-
Be a supplier in the meetings, incentives, or hospitality industry
-
Have made an exceptional impact on the SITE Texas Chapter within the past year through leadership, innovation, or service
-
Current members of the SITE Texas Board of Directors are not eligible for this award
Nomination Process
Nominations may be submitted by any current SITE Texas member.
The nomination form should include:

A summary of the nominee’s contributions and involvement
-
Specific examples demonstrating the nominee’s leadership, creativity, or influence
-
Optional testimonials or letters of support

The selection committee (comprised of an awards nomination committee of SITE Board Members outside of the SITE Texas Chapter) will review nominations and determine the recipient
Award Details

Award Value: Up to $2,500 USD to be used towards costs associated with attending the SITE Global Conference.

Formal presentation during a SITE Texas event or board meeting

Spotlight feature in the SITE Texas newsletter, social media channels, and website

Optional mentorship pairing with a SITE Texas board or committee leader
